With over 30 years of experience helming top food conglomerates in Asia Pacific, Daniel is the Managing Director of Heritage Foods (Hong Kong) Limited. A Malaysian-born Australian national, Daniel received his executive education from Harvard University before embarking on an illustrious career developing and leading successful FMCG businesses in Greater China and across Asia.
In his career, Daniel has served as CEO of China Huiyuan Juice Group Limited, a leading beverage producer listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Prior to that, he was President of Asia at the Campbell Soup Company, a New York Stock Exchange listed Company, and global CEO and board member of the Lee Kum Kee Sauce Group.
Other notable past leadership roles include Sales & Distribution Director for Philip Morris for Greater China, and Marketing and Sales Director for the Greater China region at Cadbury Schweppes. He was also the former General Manager for Kraft Foods International in Indonesia and Taiwan.
His outstanding leadership has won him numerous industry accolades and recognition. They include the Entrepreneur Personality Award by China Condiment Industry Awards, the China Top 10 Economic Talents Award in 2011, APEC China Business Leaders Awards in 2010, China Economic Entrepreneur Award by China Economic Development Forum in 2009, and the Public’s Choice CEO of China 2008 Award, hosted by CBN and CNBC Asia Pacific, in 2008.
